Sweet Cornbread

Ingredients 

1 1/3 cup all-purpose flour

2/3 cup cornmeal

2/3 cup sugar

1 tablespoon baking powder

About a teaspoon of baking soda

1/2 teaspoon  salt

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 1/4 cup buttermilk

2 eggs


Instructions 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

Mix dry ingredients together in a bowl. In a separate bowl, melt the butter, then add all the rest of the liquid ingredients together. Mix your dry and your wet ingredients together in a bowl. 

Use a 13x9 pan! Butter the pan really good, I mean really good. 

Bake on 350 for 20 minutes.

Optional: Drizzle honey on top of the cornbread as soon as it comes out of the oven!
